I have done some search in Google, and it seems that the OS indeed is the problem here, as W10 might be refusing to get Registry entries overrated by the IDT program, so Windows keep his audio config rather than allow the Beats program do his magic with out audio.
Sadly for us, the costumers, nor HP neither Microsoft will provide a fix for this rather than suggest to get another computer or to contact another company There is a way around it if you haven’t performed a Win 10 clean-install.
Now Beats audio should work as before; however, each time you change the equalizer settings, you have to close any media players running and restart them again to get the desired sound. Also, on the left side in Beats Audio where it says Music, Movie etc.. They may not work at higher sample rates. For microphones, If you set up the sample rate too high, you may not be able to actually record sound even though windows sound meters will show that mic is receiving sound–the recordings will be muted.

I’ve been trying to find a solution to this problem off and on for about a year. The Beats Audio control panel disappeared when I upgraded from Windows 8. It wasn’t a big problem at the time, because I could control the volume using the sliders in various applications.
I’m guessing that something has affected the master volume, and I can’t get to that right now. Unless someone has a better idea, I think my best option is to reinstall the Beats Audio driver. Unfortunately, that brings me back to square one: No matter what I enter into the customer support page of this site, it does not take me to a page where I can download the Beats Audio driver.
I din’t mind looking on an external site such as cnet if necessary, but I’m concerned about safety and I still wouldn’t know which file to download. Any and all solutions are appreciated, but please don’t tell me to just go to the HP Customer Support page.
