I was dealing with same issue on Safari for days, kept getting a blank page. Though maybe the page had heavy traffic and wasn’t loading, so I kept going back and still was getting a blank page – then I decided to try it on Firefox, page came right up and I was able to downloading and install in about 60 seconds.
The funny thing is – once I did this using Firefox, the issue of Safari « self corrected » and the page started coming right up. I had to manually power down and restart. Since then Safari will not work. I really do not miss Safari but since OS X has it hard wired into all web links I have to do extra work to move a link into Firefox.
